The life and adventures of an almost 30-something erstwhile writer trapped in a dull but lucrative job.  Join me as I bitch about the SF bay area housing market, trying to get pregnant (no one ever told me it would take effort) and all the wonderful things I do while procrastinating from working on my novel and generally doing something productive with my time.

Things I like:  Free NYT access, autumn and everything that comes with it (cool weather, pretty leaves, apple pies and halloween) and puppies.

Things I dislike:  Cheap beer, NPR pledge drives and the rats that live in my attic (not so keen on my landlord either, see: rats).
