But until then, I’m in an awesome mood.  I love NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo, and so does my dog, because she hates tv, which is what I used to do with my time, and this way she can snuggle me while i type away.  Actually, I love the world right now, but that’s probably because it’s friday, and while I must spend my weekend laundering and dish washing and toilet scrubbing, anything’s better than coming to work.  Hurrah!

Now, the truth is I’ve tried to write a novel before, and it hasn’t really worked out.  I mean, I haven’t quite given up on it, but I’m guessing that since I haven’t touched it for a couple of years, there’s little hope of ever finishing it.  But, I’m determined to at least get the word count to finish my nanowrimo novel, if only because I’ve told friends and family that I’m going to do it, and many of them have given me money to do it.  I kinda feel like if I don’t finish it, i have to pay them all back, and I know there’s a better chance of writing 50,000 words in 30 days than paying back the $505 that they donated.  So there it is.

 But just to be clear, I fully embrace the idea that my 30 day novel will suck circus nuts (those gross orange foam candy ones).  It will be bad, oh yes, it will be bad.  But it will be finished. 

Because writing a novel in 30 days just isn’t enough to drive me bat-shit crazy.
